Previously, I was the Founder & CTO of Traverse where we did work on verifiability and sold RL environments to frontier labs. I also studied Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and have been a part of 2 Y Combinator batches.

I am deeply interested in machine intelligence and ensuring its benefit to humanity. My work, both current and previous, has been primarily in reinforcement learning, verifiability, recursive self-improvement, zero-order optimization, and model evaluation.
